SJC Maritime Center
The new maritime training and certification programs is comprised of classrooms and simulation rooms for the technical development of students. The building house offices, a conference room, and a galley. The project also required the development of a 13-acre site located on the Houston Ship Channel and includes grading and drainage systems, installation of water, waste water, and natural gas lines. The project will also include installation of a new electrical service to support technical programs, as well as, construction of a small stand-alone chiller plant for this location as a satellite to the Building Automation System (BAS).
